Baška

Baška is one of the most famous tourist destinations on the island of Krk, the largest island in the Adriatic (40,578 ha), which is closest to the Central European market.

The position of Baška has enabled the place of continuous development and prosperity, and nowadays also recognizability in the tourist environment, so Baška is one of the most desirable tourist destinations on the Croatian Adriatic.

Located in a gentle valley, in the bay surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, with a picturesque background of the rugged mountains of Velebit and the island of Prvić, which seem to protect on all sides a unique pebble beach 1800m long, which is rightly said to be one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic.

Jurandvor

Jurandvor was founded in the 16th century and consists of the settlements of Čubranići and Juranići (named after nobles). In the center of the place, in the Juranići part, there is Jurin dvor, after which the place was named. But the very beginnings of Jurandvor date back much earlier when the Glagolitic Benedictines came to these areas and built the St.Lucy monastery on the remains of a Roman villa.
